Wind power generation belongs to clean energy, with the characteristics of renewable, pollution-free, high energy, and broad prospects. Vigorously developing clean energy is a strategic choice for countries around the world. Wind turbines generate heat during operation, causing the temperature inside the cabin to continuously rise, affecting equipment operation and safety. Therefore, it is necessary to dissipate heat from the turbine in a timely manner.

If air is directly sent into the cabin for cooling, it will bring dust and corrosive gases (especially wind turbines installed at sea) into the cabin, which will affect the service life of the unit.

The use of indirect cooling method can enable indirect heat exchange between the air inside and outside the cabin, achieving the effect of cooling the cabin without introducing dust and corrosive gases from outside the cabin into the unit. The main component of the indirect cooling system is the BXB plate heat exchanger, in which two channels are isolated by aluminum foil. The air inside the cabin is in a closed cycle and the air outside the cabin is in an open cycle. These two streams of air exchange heat inside the heat exchanger, and the air inside the cabin transfers heat to the air outside the cabin, causing the temperature inside the wind turbine unit cabin to decrease. Moreover, the air inside and outside the cabin will not mix due to the isolation of aluminum foil, avoiding the introduction of dust and corrosive gases from outside the cabin into the cabin.
